Bios

Alexis has always loved music. She started singing lessons at the age of nine. She was a member of local harmony group The Incredible Posse Singers and of The National Youth Choir Of Great Britain for several years. Alexis has won many first places in festivals and entered many talent contests. She also enjoys musical theatre and has been in several shows.

Alexis is currently competing in this year's X-Factor. So far, she has made it through the first three rounds, and is now going to meet Simon Cowell himself in a few weeks time!

Her experience includes singing at concerts, parties, opening a fashion show. She has performed in front of an audience of over 2000 people at the Guildhall in Portsmouth. Alexis has spent over 100 hours in the recording studio and has been involved with the arranging and mixing of tracks. Her voice is very versatile and she enjoys singing all styles of music, including modern pop songs, show songs, and jazz music. She has chosen to study jazz at college, and hopes to go on to university to further improve her performance skills and become a vocal coach in the future.

As an established and professional performer, Alexis will be able to make any event special. She is enjoying performing as a duo and is happy to be working with someone as established as Terry Dwyer.

Terry started learning the piano when he was 4 years old. During his teenage years he tried out the organ and found he had a true passion for the instrument. He entered many talent shows and had his first gig in a pub at only 16 years old for which he got paid £10!

When Terry was 17 he joined a three piece band and then a later a fourpiece playing in pubs and clubs, while continuing his keyboard studies. During his career so far Terry has worked alongside many top musicians, including Craig Douglas, The Batchelors, and Jess Conrad. He has even played at the cast of The Bill's annual party! Terry has always had an interest in home recording, and has purchased a lot of equipment during his career. As a result, he now has a very extensive recording studio at home, enabling him to produce the Alexis The Duo demo CD.

Terry is a very talented musician and with years of experience and a wide repertoire to draw on. He uses the latest technology to create the sound of a full band using a keyboard, bass pedals, and percussion samples.
